Matcha is a premium green tea powder which is made in Japan, used for drinking as tea or as an ingredient in recipes.

 1/2 packet of ‘DRIED KONYAKU’
 4g of Matcha powder
 100ml of unsweetened Soya milk (can be replaced by almond milk, coconut milk etc)
 40g of Azuki beans (cooked, canned)
 20g of light brown Muscovado sugar (can be replaced by Agave, Maple syrup etc)
 A pinch of Toasted Sesame Seeds

Prepare the ‘DRIED KONYAKU’ as instructed on the packet

Make Matcha paste. Put Matcha powder and 25ml of hot water in a small bowl and mix well
(Adjust the thickness by changing the amount of hot water to make it not too watery and too pasty.)

Add soya milk to the saucepan and bring to the boil and turn off the heat

Add Matcha paste and sugar to the pan and whisk well

Add prepared Konyaku to the pan and stir well

Portion into 2 bowls then top with azuki beans and sesame seeds

Can be served hot or cold. Enjoy!
